Project: Solve it with an App

Using Adobe XD students were tasked to design a prototype for an app that would make their lives infinitely easier.

Students were tasked to design and produce a family of five icons using basic shapes (circles, squares, and triangles)

and utilizing the pathfinder tool to create icons that depict a range of similar subject matter.

Students were tasked to design a Weather App, including page views for the day’s forecast, hourly forecast, and a 10 day forecast.

Combining text with icons in a meaningful hierarchy was key to success.

Students were tasked to explain a detailed process in which a user had to follow step-by-step instructions.

Then design and produce a how-to guide in the form of a poster.
